  • 3 stalk spring onions, sliced
  • 1 white onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Vegetable oil

FOR THE SAUCE:

  • 3 tbsp BOMBOM® gochujang
  • 1 tbsp coarse gochugaru (chilli powder)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

🍳 LET'S COOK

  1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork belly and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly browned and the juices start to run clear. Season with salt and pepper.
  3.  Add the garlic and fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the sauce mixture and add the sliced onion. Stir-fry until the onion starts to soften and everything is well combined.
  5. Add spring onion and drizzle with sesame oil. Toss to coat.
  6. Plate your jeyuk bokkeum and sprinkle with sesame seeds for an extra touch.

🍚 Try wrapping the pork in leafy leaves with a bit of rice. Add some ssamjang sauce for an extra kick of flavour.
