Bulgogi, which means ‘barbecue’, is a staple in Korean cuisine! We’re taking ours up a notch to create the ultimate at-home BBQ dish: stir-fried pork belly in rich, spicy BOMBOM Gochujang.


INGREDIENTS

  • 300g thin sliced pork belly
  • 2 tbsp BOMBOM Gochujang
  • 8 thick sliced cloves garlic
  • 100g spring onion
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • A half onion, chopped
  • Sesame seeds
  • Black pepper

LET'S COOK

  1. Season pork with a little salt.
  2. Heat the grill pan until hot, place whole sprigs of spring onion and lime alongside pork and sear until you get those chargrilled marks on pork - 3mins on each side.
  3. Flip the pork and spoon over Ssamjang generously.
  4. Place grill pan into an oven at 180’c until cooked through - 15mins.
  5. Once out the oven, let the pork rest.
  6. Plate up the grilled spring onions, pork, and squeeze grilled lime over pork. Tuck in.
